DanderDog.com believes in being straight with you — that is the whole point of the site — so here is exactly how we make money.
The short version
Some links on DanderDog.com are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra. We only ever recommend products we believe are genuinely worth considering, and a commission never buys a better review.
How affiliate links work
An affiliate link is a special tracking link. When you click it and make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale as a referral fee. The price you pay is the same as if you had gone to the retailer directly.
We take part in affiliate programs, currently including the Amazon Associates program. We may join additional reputable programs over time and will keep this page updated.
Amazon Associates required statement
DanderDog.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Our promises to you
- Honesty first. We recommend products based on research and, where relevant, first-hand experience — not on which pays the highest commission.
- No product is a cure. No shampoo, purifier, vacuum, or tool makes any dog “hypoallergenic” or a home “allergen-free.” We describe what a product can realistically do and where it falls short.
- Clear labeling. Articles that contain affiliate links carry a visible disclosure near the top, in line with U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines.
- Your call. Affiliate links are a convenience, never an obligation. You are always free to buy elsewhere or not at all.
Not professional advice
Product information on the Site is for general educational purposes and reflects our opinion at the time of writing. It is not veterinary or medical advice. Always consult a veterinarian about your dog and an allergist or physician about your own or your family’s health before acting. See our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy for more.
