DanderDog is an educational and informational website. Adrian V. is an independent writer, not a veterinarian, physician, allergist, or other licensed professional.
No dog is truly hypoallergenic. Allergen levels — mainly the Can f 1 protein in dander and saliva — vary widely from one dog to the next, even within so-called hypoallergenic breeds.
